The festival takes place in Juanchaco, Ladrilleros, and Bahía Málaga, in the district of Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca, Colombia).
No. The festival is a free cultural event open to the community and visitors.
Marimba and chirimía music, traditional dances, cultural workshops, gastronomy exhibitions, local entrepreneurship fairs, and beach and nature tourism activities.
You must take a boat from Buenaventura’s tourist pier (approx. 1-hour trip). You can also join organized tourist routes.
Juanchaco, Ladrilleros, and surrounding areas offer hotels, eco-lodges, and community guesthouses. We recommend booking in advance.
